Animation Project

MP4 GIF Hey! For this project, I decided to recreate a short animated version of a documentary I made called UNI. I created this by first making a short 20 second cut of the documentary in Premiere and then imported it into Photoshop. I drew about 190 frames, tracing the outline of my body and background using my iPad Pro with Apple Pencil in the Photoshop app. Once I completed the drawings, I exported the images as a video and created a final polished version in Premiere. Each individual shot in the video took approximately 7 hours each to complete, totaling about 28 hours of drawing. I hope you like it! - Beau Babics

For this project, I aimed for a clean but intriguing visual. I wanted to have a waterfall flowing out of my head. I set my camera up on a tripod and used some lamps for lighting and got this image of myself. I found an image of a waterfall online that I liked then I blended the images. This was created using Adobe Photoshop. I hope you like it! - Beau Babics

Multiplicity Project

Hey! For this project, I had to have multiple versions of myself in one image. I set my camera up on a tripod and had my mom remotely activate the camera using my phone to shoot photos at high-speed 10 FPS. I then sorted the photos and compiled them in Photoshop. Finally, I photoshopped out about a dozen for sale signs in the background. I hope you enjoy! - Beau Babics

Somewhere Project

Hey! For this project, the goal was to place myself inside a frame from one of my favorite movies: Transformers: Dark of the Moon. My main focus was to match the backlighting around the left side of Ken Jeong and match the spotlight-ish light on his face. I matched the colors the best I could and added some noise/grain and blurriness to match the filmic look of the scene. This was created using Adobe Photoshop. I hope you enjoy! - Beau Babics

B&W to Color Project

Hey! For this project, I was assigned to convert a black and white image of myself into color but only using 5 colors for each version. From top to bottom, I chose to use the triad, monochromatic, and analogous color schemes. I created this using Adobe Photoshop. I hope you enjoy! - Beau Babics

Poster Project

Hey! For my poster, I wanted to have a more introspective vibe. I decided to keep the color palette very simple and least distracting as possible while also being eye-catching. There are three different variants above. These were created in Adobe Illustrator. I hope you like them! - Beau Babics
